Assistant Team Leader - Princes Trust

Bradford

12 months Fixed Term Contract to

£18,396 to £18,896 per annum, pro-rata


Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Newcastle.


We offer a wide-ranging curriculum to our Further Education students, including Arboriculture, Horticulture, Agriculture, Animal Management, Countryside and the Environment, Engineering, Equine, Floristry, Motorsport, Professional Tree Surgery, Outdoor Adventure Sport, Sports Development, Coaching and Fitness and Uniformed Public Services.


We have a fabulous opportunity for an organised and engaging Assistant Team Leader to support groups of learners on our Princes Trust Team programmes.

Supporting them in both an academic and personal development function.

The role will cover the Bradford Team programme.

Working 36 weeks across the academic year and until 31st August 2023, the job is on a variable hour's basis to meet the requirements of our programme delivery.


As part of this role, you'll also be helping recruiting students for the Team programme, liaising with referral and support agencies to ensure a smooth transition of students throughout the programme.


Work experience of personal and social development of young people who face multiple barriers (such as behavioural problems, NEETs, mental health issues, homelessness, history of drug abuse etc) is preferable.

A working knowledge of the Prince's Trust, multi-agency working would be preferable.
