Description

As an the Management Accountant you will play a crucial role in the organisation by performing various tasks that support major decisions of the business and will report directly into the Divisional Financial Controller.

This role will provide financialsupport to the two companies and be the lead in moving processes and functions within this area forward.

You will be involved in exciting projects whilst managing the monthly management accounts.

Description
As a Management Accountant you would be involved in:

  • Responsible for maintaining the financial books and records
  • Responsible for the preparation of management accounts in line with the relevant accounting policies
  • Month end prepayment and accrual calculations
  • Preparing journals for review
  • Preparation and assistance with supporting schedules
  • Completion of reporting packs for review
  • Support in the identification, development and delivery of process and reporting improvements, including efficiency savings
  • Responsible for the production of balance sheet reconciliations and investigations into variances
  • Undertake financial analysis and production of supporting financial and nonfinancial reports
  • Assist with both internal and external audits as required
  • Liaising with external stakeholders and providing relevant reporting and information as required
  • Providing dayday administration duties in relation to the role

Profile

  • Experience of management and financial accounting and reporting
  • Experience of working in a busy environment, providing accounting/reporting services to tight deadlines
  • Worked independently to prepare monthly reports and analysis
  • Competent using ERP systems such as Oracle/SAP

Job Offer

  • Receive £30,000 £40,000 Per annum
