    An Opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join our Community Hospital Team to provide skilled, clinical and effective care. Menlli Ward is supported by a multi-disciplinary team.

    Your role will support the trained nurse and other health care professionals in the delivery of the highest standard of patient focused care.

    Improve the Quality of the fundamental aspects of Health and Social Care for people who are acutely or chronically ill, frail or disabled.

    Main duties of the job

    To assist the registered nurse in carrying out direct nursing care.

    To undertake delegated duties related to patient care that contributes to the ongoing support of patients. To include escorting patients to various destinations unsupervised. Occasionally with the use of wheelchairs

    Perform patient observations: temperature, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, blood glucose and urinalysis following a period of on-job instruction and training.

    The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
