    Description

    Our client has recently been awarded a number of key projects; therefore, we are looking to further strengthen our team by recruiting a Project Surveyor to support the whole project life cycle from bid/tender stage through to project execution.

    The Project Surveyor will be responsible for technical advice during tenders as well as offering high level technical support during mobilisation, operations and demobilisation, and will support the Project Managers with client meeting preparation, technical dispute resolution and daily technical operational queries from the field.

    This role will be primarily based in Norwich, Norfolk, but some travel will be necessary.

    Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Reviewing technical specifications during tender and operational activity
    • Supporting the commercial team with technical support for tenders when required
    • Offering technical support to the asset manager in selecting suitable survey equipment
    • Where necessary, supporting P&L team in selecting correct personnel for specific requirements
    • Acting as the technical authority and supporting the PM during any technical disputes with clients or equipment suppliers
    • Reviewing DPR/minutes from meetings offering any insight into technical issues or queries
    • Reviewing technical spreadsheets
    • Attending regular technical meetings to offer input and support Desirable experience/qualifications include:
    • Experience in an offshore role
    • Degree or relevant experience in a survey-based discipline
    • Experience in working closely with tender teams and Project Managers/operational teams
    • Working with blue-chip, high-profile clients
    • Working in a multi-cultural organisation The right candidate will:
    • Have a good eye for detail
    • Have a strong technical background with good commercial acumen
    • Be able to put views across concisely yet strongly
    • Be able to travel freely
