Trade Compliance & Logistics Manager, EMEA - Southampton

An exciting opportunity to contribute to a globally recognised brand

You'll use a strong understanding of our markets to lead our Logistics Team and take responsibility for all our EMEA International Trade Compliance, Customs and Transportation functions across the region, and will ensure the importing, exporting and supplychain security activities complies with HMRC laws and regulations including Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) and the UK

You will coordinate internationally to ensure standardized and integrated international trade procedures are implemented to maximize corporate efficiency and minimize regulatory risk.

Additionally, you will maintain good working relationships with internaland external customers, business partners and applicable government agencies to execute import and export best practices.

Working Hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)

Requirements Significant experience of International Trade Compliance

A great track record in logistics and supply chain activities
Successful experience of Customs
Experience and knowledge of bonded warehouses
Strong working knowledge and experience in import and export compliance polices and audit procedures.
Knowledge/understanding of Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) processes.
In addition, you should have proven leadership and project management experience, a continuous improvement approach to your work as well as experience of using an ERP (Oracle, SAP, Navision or similar) for managing and reporting.
