An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Estates and Facilities Department for an enthusiastic team member for a Facilities Management Assistant (FMA).

The post is suited to a motivated and experienced person.

The postholder will provide a food and beverage service to staff, patients and visitors maintaining exceptionally high cleaning and record keeping standards.


An opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Management Assistant (Cleaning and Catering duties) to work in the Unit as part of a team at Clockview Hospital.

The role includes Service of meals, snacks & drinks for patients whist employing safe food handling procedures. The post holder will have responsibility for stock control, rotation and excellent record keeping.

You must have good communication skills, a pleasant personality, a positive attitude and a willingness to work in all areas including all wards should the service require.

You need to provide a high standard of cleanliness at all times.

You must also possess the ability to work within a team or on your own as necessary with an understanding of health and safety in relation to safe working practices.

NHS experience and training in safety, health and catering or cleaning tasks. Experience of working in a similar role (cleaning or catering). Experience of working in the NHS. Knowledge of the National Standards of Cleanliness and NHS Colour Coding. Experience of dealing with people.
