- Being responsible for the daytoday finance function, overseeing daytoday accounting operations
- Preparation of all journal entries and balance sheet for month end
- Reviewing all expenses ensuring correct documentation and coding
- Cashflow and income monitoring
- Support with the design and implementation of guides/training, as well as continual improvement of finance systems
- Assist with payroll operations
- Ad hoc project/ problem solving as the office expands
- Support the Director across administrative tasks such as Finance, HR, IT and general operations as required
- Liaison with external auditors and stakeholders

They seek to recruit an experienced Accounts Manager; a permanent, full-time opportunity offering very favourable hybrid working options, as well as an office base overlooking a beautiful part of Cornwall.
This is a position of pivotal importance within the organisation and one that works closely with the Director of Finance and HR Director.

Previous experience gained in a charity accounting environment would be highly advantageous, but this employer recognises that a commercially astute finance professional, with exposure gained in the private sector will also have a lot to offer here.
