    Description
    Technical Machine OperatorNormantonPERMANENT£ £28000Our client based in the Normanton area, have an immediate requirement to recruit 2 well versed Technical Machine Operators to join their team

    Duties Include:

    • Operate the appropriate machinery to produce products of the required quality and within customers' specifications.
    • Constantly monitor output to ensure that it is of the standard required, rejecting any that does not meet the standards.
    • Take appropriate corrective action to rectify problems as they may occur.
    • Make any necessary adjustments to machinery to ensure that the required product quality is maintained.
    • Ensure any adjustments made are recorded and documented within the SPC procedures.
    • Ensure all relevant information is accurately input into the company's business system for shop floor data collection purposes.
    • Carry out the required QA testing to ensure the product meets customers' requirements and strict specifications and accurately record results.
    • Ensure the operation of the machinery remains within minimum waste, and quality rejects.
    • Assist in the general preventative maintenance of the machine including cleaning of heads etc.,Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate a background in the print or packaging industry.
    This is a permanent role where you will be expected to work the following shift pattern:
    Week
    • Wednesday, Thursday and Friday DAYS ( 6am 6pm )Week
    • Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday NIGHTS (6pm 6am )Week
    • Monday & Tuesday DAYS, Wednesday OFF, Thursday and Friday NightsIn return you can expect a starting salary of £25k rising £27k after the completion of a 6 month probation.
