    Description

    Our client, a world leading manufacturer of precision measurement technologies, are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Production Co-ordinator to join their team on an initial 3 Month Fixed-Term contract .

    Working closely with the Production Manager the Production Co-ordinator will be responsible for; overseeing the production process, coordinating with various departments to ensure production goals are met and orders are completed efficiently meeting customers' required delivery dates.

    Responsibilities include:
    \r

    \r

    \r
    \tPlanning and scheduling work orders, without exceeding available capacity, to ensure on-time delivery (OTD) \r
    \tDistributing workload between resources to ensure maximum capacity, flexibility and response time. \r
    \tLiaising with Purchasing Department to ensure component deliveries are on track. \r
    \tCommunicating effectively with departments business wide, including Sales, to ensure customer demands are met. \r
    \tMaintaining quality in line with respective Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and adhere to the Health and Safety policy of the business. \r

    This is a key role, and they are looking for someone who is reliable, flexible, efficient, and has Production Planning experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment


    You will also have:
    \r
    \r

    \r
    \tDemonstrable experience of Bill of Materials (BOM) creation and the use of a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system. \r
    \tStrong IT skills, knowledge of Microsoft D365 preferable \r
    \tExceptional organisational, prioritisation and time management skills and the ability to manage workload. \r

    \r


    Based from their HQ on the outskirts of Sevenoaks, hours of work are 7.30am-4pm Monday-Thursday and Friday, 37 hours a week.

    Paid overtime is available where needed to meet workload demands. \r
