    Description
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Capacity management and planning, keep abreast of current industry trends, product and platform updates, and identify potential opportunities and threats to the strategic positioning of the organisation from a delivery and resourcing perspective.
    • Oversee the recruitment and retention of staff and provide a general personnel management service, working closely with recruitment business partners in the People and Onboarding teams to ensure regulatory employment compliance, monitoring skill-mix and deployment of resource across support and delivery assignments.
    • Provide pastoral care and guidance to delivery and support workstreams, incorporating objective setting, performance appraisal discussions and administration, day-to-day approvals and workforce monitoring tasks, team meetings and 121s as required, with the dissemination of corporate information flows via appropriate forums and media.
    • Working with - and through - the HCM and FinProc Delivery Leads, provide hands-on oversight, governance, and management of the delivery of public facing digital products through modular knowledge, subject matter expertise, business process and system enhancements experience.
    • Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers and third-party suppliers, interface with key project stakeholders to clarify, refine and validate resource and skillset requirements; track and verify via development, design, build and testing into 'live' systems.
    • Manage fiscal accountability with regards to deployment of Practice resource to chargeable enterprises, liaise with budget lead to monitor headcount and utilisation.

    Knowledge, skills and experience needed:Essential:
    • A proven track record of successful EA capacity management encompassing pastoral care, resource allocation, strategic planning, performance tracking and objective setting mixed with recruitment & retention and training needs analysis experience to deliver large-scale programmes of work alongside BAU support activities.
    • Able to partner with key stakeholders to understand business strategies as this role will require the successful candidate to work alongside colleagues and 3rd party suppliers to effectively plan, prioritize and schedule high profile work.
    • Ability to organise and drive leadership group meetings to facilitate a greater understanding of business strategy, strengthening organizational effectiveness, product knowledge, resource and planning alignment and capabilities.
    • Has managed, planned, coordinated and supervised activities related to the planning, scope/definition, design, development, testing, and implementation of on-prem and Cloud-based enterprise systems and applications.
    • Shows authoritative leadership to ensure project management creates and drives detailed and effective communication and change management plans where system application engineering resources are impacted.
    • Is able to review larger solution designs across their technology or application stack to sense check design solutions.
    • Has excellent communication skills, sets clear expectations for performance, and showcases in-depth knowledge of products to influence stakeholders, ensuring the team is recognised for its technical excellence and quality of delivery.
    Desirable:
    • Oracle Cloud Certification, CMI qualification.
    • ERP software implementation experience (Oracle, SAP, Workforce, other).
    • Business process knowledge of ERP modules i.e. HR, payroll, supply chain, fixed assets, project costing etc.
    • Good understanding of project & delivery methodologies such as Prince2, Agile, ITIL.
