Temporary role for 3-4 months initially with the opportunity to go permanent

Our client is a rapidly expanding, exciting Tech SME looking to triple turnover in the next 3 years. The business are at an exciting part of their journey, due to receive investment to really catapult their growth - a really great time to join them

This role will sit under a Finance Director offering a great mentor and support for your development. With the business rapidly expanding this is a brilliant opportunity for exposure at all levels

Role:

Month end assisting finance director with month end management accounts including deferred income, reporting on clients, balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring timely completion
Managing quarterly commission for the quarter, liaising with team managers on amounts and sending for director approval ahead of payroll deadline
Daily cash reporting to Directors cash allocation, aged debt
Managing new business/invoices coming through and investigating variances
Managing client direct debits, setting up new and allocating receipts
Reviewing current clients ensuring receipt of signed agreement from the client, raising further invoices and updating direct debit amounts
Overseeing AR & AP duties developing 2 junior staff members covering these roles
Credit control chasing escalated debts and managing through XERO, liaising with Directors on aged/bad debt
Managing credit and refund requests, communicating with client
