Job Role:
Salon Junior.

Permanent. Full time.
Employed status.

Location:
Tunbridge Wells


Located in the centre of Royal Tunbridge Wells and close to the prestigious Pantiles, we bring to you a new salon experience that is fresh and fun, with a friendly and honest approach.


Tasks/Responsibilities:


  • Shampoo and condition guest's hair for stylist
  • Take colours off
  • Skin tests
  • Take Payments
  • Take Bookings
  • Answer Phone
  • Train on Blowdrys
  • Make Refreshments
  • Keep shampoo area clean and organized
  • Maintain salon appearance and cleanliness
  • Sweep around stylists' chairs
  • Laundry
  • Greet guests as they walk in
  • Tell the appropriate technician their guest has arrived
  • Promote and sell services and products, including recommending and selling additional services and/or retail products which will enhance and improve the guest's satisfaction with services performed
  • Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures to supervisor immediately
  • Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement
  • Willing and timely execution of other duties as delegated by leadership
  • Model nights weekly

Hairdressing Experience:

Hairdressing: 1 years (preferred)

  • Needs to demonstrate a willingness to learn and to be trained
  • Traineelevel or above
  • The ability to follow instructions
  • Excellent organisational and timemanagement skills
  • Good spoken English.

Schedule:8 hour shift, day shift, plus weekend availability


The Exchange:
£8 - £10 an hour, plus commission on product sales
