Our Governance team has a wonderful opportunity to join our supportive and friendly team as a Senior Administration Officer who will ensure delivery of a comprehensive and effective administration service to clinical personnel.


You will be required to provide an effective and efficient Personal Assistant/Secretarial service to the Care Group 3 Division 8 Local Services team which will include acting as a first point of contact for communication for Consultants, Medical and other hospital Staff and outside agencies, providing support to the team members and liaising with departments across MSE solving queries as appropriate.

You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Governance Lead and Governance and Complaints Team.


You will be working closely with the Complaints Coordinator to help ensure complaints and PALS are responded to in a timely manner, databases and electronic systems are kept updated, and the Divisions are supported in their management of patient experience related queries.


You will ensure clear and effective communication between members of the service, be responsible for the administrative preparation of agendas and papers for meetings, taking and typing up minutes as required as well as promoting good customer relations and public image of the service and dealing with incoming correspondence and using judgement and initiative based on experience to compose and type responses to routine correspondence matters on behalf of the service.
