    Job Description

    Cramp & Mullaney LLP are seeking a pro-active, customer focused Lawyer with a flexible approach to work to join our busy team of Solicitors in Eastbourne and Battle.

    This is an exciting opportunity for someone to manage their own case load which will comprise of Private Family Law to include Divorce, Finance & Children and Domestic Abuse matters.

    We offer a competitive salary which is based on experience, and we are open to applications from candidates who have more than 2 years' experience.

    Duties will include.

    • Managing a caseload
    • Advising on a variety of privately funded family matters
    • Drafting legal documentation and court applications
    • Be actively involved in networking to support marketing and development of the business.
    • Ensuring all governance and compliance targets and requirements are met.
    • Working to deadlines

    To be considered, you will be asked to demonstrate your skills in the following:

    • Experience of Legal Aid work preferable but not essential
    • Communication and Leadership skills
    • Ability to meet targets and work under pressure.
    • Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
    • Ability to work as part of a team and provide support as needed.
    • Be proactive when it comes to continued personal development.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Schedule: Monday to Friday

    Work location: Potential to work across both our offices in Eastbourne and Battle.
