Job Title:
Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant


Location:
North Wales, Wrexham


Contract type:
Full-time


Job Description:


As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to teachers and students in the classroom, as well as working closely with parents and other staff members to ensure the best possible outcomes for all students.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist teachers with classroom activities, including oneonone and small group support.
  • Help students with additional needs, such as language barriers or learning difficulties, to access the curriculum.
  • Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and any concerns.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students.
  • Work closely with parents and other staff members to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:


  • Fluency in Welsh and English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a classroom environment.
  • A positive and patient attitude towards working with children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An understanding of the needs of children with additional needs.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, or the ability to obtain one.

£73.79-£80.00 per day
