    Role: HR Business Partner Internship

    Job Type: Internship - 12 months fixed-term

    The role

    Key responsibilities:

    • Work closely with Human Resource Business Partner of Business Unit and assist deployment of people initiatives.
    • Develop understanding of the Company Policies and Procedures, applying them fairly and consistently across the organization.
    • Understand company's Social Collaboration initiative and drive within the business unit.
    • Develop understanding of company's Purpose4Life initiatives under corporate social responsibilities and drive within the assigned business unit.
    • Assist with separation and exit process, set up governance mechanism to track and monitor leavers and joiners in delivery center.
    • Develop understanding of company's Talent Development platform and deploy learning initiative.
    • Work closely and assist people managers to plan Team Building activities in the project teams on regular basis.
    • Assist in preparing unit base people analytics and develop governance mechanism to effectively deploy people initiatives.
    • Provide assistance to HRBP in the area of addressing and managing workplace issues as per the company policies under UK employment law.
    • Work with other departments to ensure effective management of people related issues are dealt with, in line with the Company's policies and procedures to the same.
    • Prepare reports on need basis on People initiatives and practices.

    Key Skills & Knowledge

    • Ability to learn quickly and to operate under pressure, both time-bound and on emotive subject matters.
    • Ability to handle and resolve contentious people issues.
    • Strong sense of focus and determination with a demonstrated skill of seeing things through, despite difficult challenges and obstacles presented.
    • Good communication skills – written, verbal and telephonic – including ability to present information to groups and to conduct difficult and sensitive conversations.
