Your role

As a pivotal member of our team, your role is tobridge the gap between Gorilla's innovative solutions and our clients'needs. With a strong foundation in project delivery and acomprehensive understanding of the energy sector, you will lead theco-creation of bespoke calculation models. Your tasks includeconfiguring and refining our platform, ensuring that every solutionperfectly aligns with the customer's requirements. You will:

• Collaborate closely with customer business experts, employing yourproject delivery skills and energy sector knowledge to craft the idealsolutions.
• Utilize your deep understanding of pricing,forecasting, and portfolio management to develop tailored calculationmodels in Gorilla.
• Identify enhancements to our solution,establish a project backlog, and direct our data engineers with clear,actionable development tasks.
• Uphold development qualitythrough comprehensive test scenario creation and execution.
• Work with project managers, solution architects, and the dataengineering team to elevate the delivery of IT projects.

Your responsibilities

In yourcapacity as a UK Energy Solutions Consultant, your expertise inproject delivery and the energy sector will drive the development ofcutting-edge calculation models and solutions. From the initial salesphase through to project implementation, you will:

• Engagewith clients, solution architects, and engineers to definerequirements for calculation models, pinpointing specific data needsand algorithms.
• Use your knowledge of the UK Energy marketto advocate for Gorilla's solutions, guiding prospects and clientsthrough our offerings in pricing, forecasting, and billing.
• Facilitate workshops for customers, translating complex projectdetails into comprehensible information for all stakeholders.
• Analyse client processes, pricing, and forecasting methodologiesto effectively brief our engineering team and ensure the delivery ofhigh-quality solutions.
• Champion co-creation and teamwork,collaborating closely with colleagues across departments.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5years of experience in project delivery within the energy retailindustry, focusing on pricing, forecasting, or trading.
• Demonstrable expertise in the Energy market, with a keen eye onthe latest developments.
• An analytical and numerical problemsolver with a knack for understanding and addressing complexchallenges.
• Proficient in English, with exceptionalcommunication skills both in writing and speaking.
• A peopleperson with a profound understanding of the energy sector, capable ofnavigating multiple geographical energy markets.
