    Software Engineer
    • Financial Services
    • Up to £350,000 TC
    • HybridOrbis is supporting one of the UK's leading financial services firms (£40bn in assets) with a crucial software engineering hire, who has experience in dev experience/building internal tools.
    The main focus of this role is to develop and enhance the internal tools, platforms, and processes across the organization which includes working on front-office trading, middle office, and general business-critical problems.

    TechstackPython, Rust, CI/CD, PostgreSQL, SQL, Slang, AWS, Quartz & moreDesired experienceBSc degree or higher from a reputable university in Comp Sci, Physics, Maths or a related STEM subject4+ years experience as a software engineer with a clear track record of working in development experience, building internal tools, or business engineeringStrong Python coding ability with a polyglot mindset (ability and enthusiasm to pick up/learn new tools and languages)Financial services knowledge i.e.

    fixed income, derivatives, front office tradingPackageThe role pays up to £350,000 in total compensation, this varies depending on seniority and experience.

    The business works on a hybrid basis from their London HQ.
