Penningtons Manches Cooper are looking to hire a junior paralegal to join it's Housing team in Basingstoke.

The Housing team delivers a high quality legal service and this role will predominantly provide support in respect of the sale of shared ownership and outright sales and after sales transaction on behalf of Housing Associations.

The firm operates a hybrid agile working policy allowing employees to work from home (or another UK location) for up to 50% of their time.

Individuals can also apply for other flexible working options either at the time of recruitment or during the course of their employment.

Ensure compliance with professional duties and the firm's internal procedures
To demonstrate required knowledge and keep up to date with developments in the law
To manage the billing process and to achieve income targets
Participate in firm wide and team specific training sessions

No specific legal qualification is required but ideally the candidate is be able to demonstrate some relevant experience but not necessarily in Housing Home Ownership.

A desire to work in the affordable housing sector with clients that often have clear charitable purposes
