    About the role

    We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic IT Analyst to join our Business Technology team offering a unique opportunity for professional growth and exposure to strategic projects working closely with talented and experienced engineers.

    This is a junior level position where we'd ideally look for someone who has some commercial experience but would equally welcome recent graduates or those looking for an entry point into the IT and Security field.

    Our Business Technology Team is the backbone of everything IT and Security within Faculty, providing a streamlined service in a range of ways including resolving technical issues, ensuring the efficient onboarding of new employees and unearthing the new and upcoming technologies that adds value to daily work.

    What you'll be doing

    By nature, working in the Business Technology team can present opportunities to be involved in a wide variety of work.

    As part of your day-to-day job, you can expect your key responsibilities to include:

  • Serving as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, providing prompt and efficient assistance to end-users.
  • Triaging and categorising inbound support requests, ensuring accurate and timely resolution.
  • Assisting users with a range of technical challenges
  • Providing a professional service deploying a customer first approach and employing a patient approach to find a solution that best supports your users.
  • Championing company best practice, enhancing documentation and identifying gaps in process to improve.
  • Who we're looking for

    To be successful in this role, you'll need a basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and security concepts but more importantly, an enthusiasm and passion for IT and learning new things. In particular you'll:

  • Enjoy working in a support focussed role with great interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with people at all levels
  • Be a proactive and self-motivated problem solver.
  • Have strong communication skills including written, oral, and an ability to document technical processes.
  • Understand the importance of organisation and be able to balance competing priorities in a deadline driven environment
  • Work well either independently or as part of a tight-knit, collaborative team that promotes comradery, creativity and innovation
