Description

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust are seeking an Occupational Health Adviser, to provide an effective occupational health and wellbeing service across the three Acute Hospitals within the MSE NHS Trust and external organisations, as contracted.


To actively participate and contribute to the development of a high-quality Occupational Health & Wellbeing Service for all staff in the Trust and external organisations.

To proactively engage with all stakeholders to influence the health and well-being of the organisation and its employees.

To offer specialist advice on matters relation to occupational health and wellbeing.

Advise both management and employees on all matters related to work and health.


Assist with the promotion and maintenance of a proactive health and well-being programme for all staff in accordance with the public health agenda and Trust Health and Wellbeing Strategy.

Actively participate in health awareness initiatives.

Attend and participate in relevant committees i.e. Health and Safety, Infection Prevention & Control

Assist with such clerical duties as are necessary for the effective running of the department.

Be responsible for the effective management of their own time and other resources available to them
