The Role
We're looking for an experienced
Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our Finance team, based from our Central Birmingham office.

You'll play an important part in ensuring that Midland Heart has a healthy cash flow - with responsibility for the administration and clearance of the supplier Aged Debt Report.

In this role you'll work contribute towards the success of the wider Finance Operations team by:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of sales ledger documentation and cash allocation
  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of a high volume of invoices
  • Ensuring all relevant debts are paid in a timely manner in line with our payment terms, conditions and processes
  • Statement reconciliation
  • Responding to internal customer and external supplier queries, ensuring all issues are investigated, resolved and/or escalated in a timely manner.

We're a Smart Working organisation so you can expect a balance of working remotely from home and from our Birmingham Bath Row office of 3 days per week.


  • You'll have previous experience within a Sales Ledger, Credit Control or Accounts Receivable role
  • You'll have previous experience of processing a high volume of invoices and undertaking statement reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner
  • You'll have experience of using a variety of IT systems and programmes, particularly Excel
  • You'll have excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills with the ability to deliver multiple tasks to tight deadlines
