An opportunity has arisen for a position of Shift Leader (Team Leader) to work in a Children's home that provides short breaks to children with disabilities.


The position involves supporting the team to provide care and support to enable children to progress and develop to reach their full potential.

The position will involve providing effective supervsion, planning and leading shifts and supporting the management team with the day to day running of the home, as well as coaching and mentoring staff to support the team to provide care to children to develop independence, social skills and to access activities within the home and in the local community to achieve positive outcomes for all children.


You will be working in an established and friendly team in a home from home environment, the role will include working mornings, evenings, weekends and school holidays, staff are expected to undertake occasional sleep in duties.

GCC provide a training and development programme which is available to all teams. You will be expected to attend mandatory training and team meetings as required for the role.
