Exciting opportunity to join this expanding and successful retailer as a Junior Merchandiser. Looking after one of the main womenswear departments, you will take full ownership for the area, with the autonomy to drive it forward. Responsibilities include:

·Range planning and overseeing the WSSI

·Manage the supply chain , build relationships with suppliers an control the critical path

·Manage and develop of the department with an eye on the needs of the business and customer

·Liaise with Buying, Design and Technical, Finance, DC and Logistics to achieve marketable ranges, trade the range and manage its performance throughout the season

·Form a commercial range strategy, using relevant data to support your proposals

·Manage profit performance through limiting risk, potentialising profit and managing sales performance to achieve results

·Managing and motivating a team and deputising for the Senior Merchandiser

You will have:

·A proven track record in the role of a Senior Assistant Merchandiser, to be able to step straight into the position

·Outstanding commercial awareness, with a strong understanding of the high street

·Well-developed commercial and business acumen

·Strong people management skills, along with superb communication skills
