    Data Governance Analyst

    • £ per day Inside IR35
    • Flexible location, occasional travel to Milton Keynes

    This role involves working as a Data Governance Analyst on a contract basis within a central Data Governance Team supporting internal projects at a topnotch Financial Services Company.

    Main responsibilities for this position:

    • Assisting the Data Governance Manager in enhancing content for the key data elements [KDE's] within the bank's domains.
    • Managing relationships with vital Data Domain stakeholders, technical SMEs, Data Services, and Platform Services teams across various domains.
    • Becoming proficient in the Enterprise Data Catalogue tool (EDC) for metadata harvesting at scale, data profiling and discovery, and lineage establishment using ETL tool scanning like Informatica PowerCenter.

    Essential experience and knowledge needed for this role:

    • Prior experience in Financial Services / Banking, especially within data teams, is highly advantageous.
    • Expertise in data governance – either utilizing Informatica Data Management tools or similar Metadata collection & analysis tools.
    • Familiarity with examining mappings in platforms such as Informatica PowerCenter or similar ETL tools.
    • Solid experience with various IT systems and a grasp of the IT development lifecycle, along with preparation and delivery of software demos / training.
