    This is an opportunity to join a well-established real estate debt fund in their newly formed lending operations team. The fund has a mandate to provide bridging and development finance (loan size up to £150m) across the UK.

    What they need:

    • 5+ years of experience in lending operations
    • Experience in property finance (particularly bridging and / or development lending) would be an advantage

    A more detailed job specification:

    • Funding: conduct weekly and monthly forecasting of completions and draw-downs and ensure that capital is called optimally from our funding sources
    • Payments: conduct call-backs and act as payment approver on various LendCo bank accounts, ensuring payment waterfalls and cash sweeps are correctly executed
    • Loan statements: ensure that fees, draw-downs and repayments are applied to customer statements timeously and that redemption statements are checked
    • System validation: ensure the lending systems are up to date and accurate at all times and that second level validations at completion, monthly build draw-down, extension etc. are carried out
    • Loan servicing: ensure that loan document deliverables are loaded into the firms' lending system at completion and track the same, reporting on a T-30 basis to ensure compliance is maintained
    • Loan documentation: use pre and post completion and redemption checklists to ensure that credit and loan documentation files and systems are complete and accurate at all times
    • Sales and redemption: ensure that accommodation schedules and sales/deposit reconciliations are accurate and up to date, monitor bank accounts, check individual unit sales and proceeds received and ensure they are correctly applied to loan statements. Liaise with solicitors and ensure all security release documentation is correctly executed and saved.
    • KYC: support deal teams by undertaking customer credit and surveillance bureau searches, undertaking first-pass checks of individual and company documents, ensuring compliance with KYC/AML policy standards
    • Flags and alerts: ensure the live portfolio is accurately set-up in Companies House, Credit Bureau and Sanctions/PEP systems and that any hits are followed-up with Deal Teams in real time
    • Reports: ensure that regular reports generated from system MI are accurate e.g. sales, contractor

    Salary is £45,000 to £55,000.
