    A client of nGenium have a new requirement for an embedded software engineer to join a rapidly growing team. There is excellent opportunity for growth and development within the business.

    The successful embedded software engineer will be joining the company at an exciting point and will have the opportunity to take products through the full development lifecycle.

    Embedded Systems Engineer - £50-65K - Gloucestershire - Scientific Instuments
    The details of the opportunity are below:


    Responsibilities:

    • This is hands on development role and experience in the design and development of both low frequency analogue and digital electronics along with embedded software development is required. Windows programming experience would also be desirable.
    2. navigation system design and verification of the system performance

    • Implementation of the company's near and long-term technology route map
    • Ability to analyse a system either through a detailed analytical approach or through simulation
    • Provide technical support to production staff and customers (some internationally)

    Qualifications and experience required:

    • Good Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering with minimum of 3 years relevant experience
    • Electronic product development experience is essential
    • Extensive knowledge of embedded systems - electronic / software design.
    • Understanding of inertial sensors and platform stabilisation would be beneficial
    • Good analytical skills
    • Ability to accurately describe ideas and results in a technical forum both verbally and written
    • The ability to work as a key member of a team is important and good leadership skills and experience would also be advantageous
