As summary of the role is below:

Job Purpose:


  • Carry out a range of administrative support duties within the Admin team at the Hospice
  • Provide cover for reception
  • Assist in a range of projects, as need arises

Overview of duties

  • Carrying out a range of general administrative tasks sending out correspondence, photocopying, filing
  • Ordering & managing stocks of stationery


  • Call handling

  • Answer telephone calls coming into the admin office
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports and document collation
  • Maintain existing filing and management information systems
  • Support event arrangements, as and when required
  • Provide support to finance function, under direction from Finance & Payroll Officer
  • Liaise with Executive Assistant to handle requests and queries from senior managers
  • To work effectively and support the whole team
  • Support projects within the administrative team

  • Provide cover for reception
area when required - meeting and greeting visitors, dealing with queries

Up to £18,525.00 per year
