Job Description

Experienced Groundsman/Driver sought for private estate near Banbury. There is no accommodation provided so essential to live within a commutable distance of Banbury, Oxfordshire.

Salary offered: £35k + annual performance related bonus

Hours: Generally 9-6 (with flexibility and occasional weekend work required).

Working as part of a team with 2 additional Groundsmen/Drivers in a large household.

Ø Duties are varied and will include:

Driving,including running errands, occasional school runs

Ø Care of dogs (including security dogs) walking/grooming/feeding/vets.

Ø Poultry care chickens.

Ø Car maintenance, valeting of high value company cars and arranging servicing.

Ø Swimming pool maintenance

Ø Maintenance of estate including houses and outbuildings . Liaising with property management company

Ø Jet washing patios, walkways and parking areas when needed.

Ø Basic electrical and plumbing work. Changing light bulbs, fixing shelves

Ø Maintaining all exterior furniture including pressure washing, sanding,and oiling.

Ø Gardening -lawns/hedges/small tree felling/planting.

Ø Garden tool maintenance-cleaning of hand and petrol tools, mowers to high standard along with booking in annual servicing.

Ø Responsible for all waste collection on a weekly basis

Previous experience working on a private estate with verifiable references and clean driving license essential.
