Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the HR department and management team to identify training needs and create learning objectives for various departments within the utilities company.
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive training program that covers technical, operational, customer service, leadership, and other relevant skills required for different job roles.
- Design and deliver engaging and interactive training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques, such as lectures, group discussions, simulations, and handson activities.
- Create and update training materials, manuals, job aids, and other resources to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and areas for improvement.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback to continually improve the quality of training delivery.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance training programs and ensure they remain current and effective.
- Provide oneonone coaching and mentoring to employees as needed to address individual performance gaps.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires by delivering orientation sessions and providing training on company policies, procedures, and systems.
- Maintain training records and track the progress and performance of trainees.
Requirements:
- Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications in instructional design, adult learning, or training development will be considered an asset.
- Proven experience as a Trainer or in a similar role within the utilities industry or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse audience and adapt training delivery to meet different learning styles.
- Proficiency in using various training methodologies and techniques.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with learning management systems

£45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
