Due to continuing growth and opportunity, we are now looking for a dynamic placement student who is self-motivated, well organized with good communication skills and sound business awareness to be based within our Keystone Lintels, Cookstown office;

You will be exposed to all aspects of the business, including technical design, R&D, project management and commercial activities, working closely alongside industry experts that will help develop your skill set for long term career progression.

Upon completion of 'on-the-job training', you will be given autonomy to work on your own initiative within a vibrant, growing Technical Engineering Team who are key leaders within the Construction Engineering field.

KEY OBJECTIVES:

1. Generate production/client drawings of products on Auto-cad/Solidworks
2. To prepare an accurate, competitive and detailed technical quote for the company's product range based on information received
3. Prioritize work appropriately to deliver quotes within set deadline not only to specify standard off-the-shelf products, but also custom-made items designed specifically for relevant projects.
4. Prepare calculations at the customer's request to satisfy building control authority.
5. Periodic office and site visits to develop customer relationships and to measure up/ solve technical issues.

CRITERIA AND SKILLS:

You will be working toward a degree within a relevant engineering discipline ideally, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Building Surveying or Architectural Tech & Management

You will be able to demonstrate some experience of using AutoCad, those with Solidworks would too be advantageous.

Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills

Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
