    Job Description:

    Terex GB Ltd has been ranked number 18 in the Ulster Business Top 100 NI companies. Terex is a fast-moving engineering company continually developing in N. Ireland. The Technical Training and Development Engineer will be responsible for creating, planning and delivering advanced technical service training to both our worldwide dealer network and existing personnel within the Finlay and wider Material Processing organisation.

    Main Duties & Responsibilities:

    1. Create and update product training presentations covering Finlay mobile Crushing, Screening and Conveying equipment
    2. Creating and updating training presentations covering product application support
    3. Coordinating and successfully delivering structured training schools in the Terex Omagh facility or abroad to technical groups from the worldwide dealer network or existing personnel from within the business
    4. Coordinating and successfully delivering structured training via online, directly with dealers or in the method of webinars
    5. Confidently carry out critical maintenance, electrical and hydraulic practical troubleshooting exercises
    6. Co-ordinate & conduct E-Learning sessions via dedicated online training portal
    7. Review prototype machines during the testing phase to assist with machine validation and ensure that all new training material is accurate and ready at the time of machine launch
    8. Identify improvements on existing production machines and present this back to engineering in a concise and documented matter
    9. Assist with product application requests using tools such as Aggflow & Microsoft Visio
    10. Assisting with onsite machine installations and calibration ensuring optimum machine performance
    11. Identify and undertake additional personal development courses to continually improve your training ability

    About you

    Experience & Qualifications:

    • Engineering Degree or similar would be ideal but not essential
    • Creativity, innovative thinking and excellent organizational skills
    • Good English communication skill, both written and spoken
    • Competent with Microsoft Office tools
    • Experience working on mobile crushing and screening equipment would be advantageous

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
    • Proven ability to present to a large group of people
    • Effective project management and planning / organizational skills
    • Someone who cultivates a team spirit with the respect of others' ideas and requirements
    • Capable of working on their initiative and as part of a team as and when required
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects at one time
    • Able to assess workload and commit to realistic timelines with given resources
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Willingness to travel extensively abroad
