We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary School English Teacher to join is in supporting schools in Didsbury.
As an English Teacher, you will inspire students with a love for literature, language, and critical thinking skills.Curriculum Delivery:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum, incorporating a range of teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse learning styles.
Language Development:
Facilitate the development of students' written and oral communication skills, providing opportunities for creative expression, critical analysis, and effective communication.
Implement formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their academic growth and achievement.
Literacy Across the Curriculum:
Promote literacy across all subject areas, collaborating with colleagues to integrate literacy skills into their teaching and supporting students' literacy development beyond the English classroom.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification with a specialization in English.Relevant degree in English literature, language, or related field.
Previous experience teaching English at the secondary level is desirable.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English language and literature.
