The Maintenance Machinist Technician works individuals across multiple departments and a wide variety of equipment to keep our production process operating smoothly and consistently. Success in this position requires excellent problem solving skills and a strong aptitude for learning new skills and systems.

Requirements

• Proficient in conventional Machining
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on both complex and simple mechanical systems.
• Fabrication of machine parts without a print (duplicating).
• Check systems functionality by running diagnostic tests.
• Utilize power and hand tools to install new equipment and replace defective parts.
• Detect malfunctions through observation (sound or visual)
• Compliance with all OSHA regulations and company established safety policies.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Proficient at using a wide range of machine shop equipment.
• Experience with Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
• CNC machining.
• Proficient at working from complex machine diagrams and manuals.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Programming and electrical strengths.
