Operations manager - Food Production

£40,000 to £42,000 plus amazing benefits packages

Location:
Surbiton

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Overview:


An excellent opportunity to join an
Award-winning, Wholesale Produce Supplier who provide high end customers with
high quality products and excellent service.


As the
Operations Manager you will be responsible for the overall smooth running of the different departments and be the
central communication point. This will be
a very involved and engaged role within most aspects of the company.

Daily duties include:

  • Generating weekly and monthly reports
  • All aspects of staff management which include time keeping and holiday planning
  • Oversee payroll duties
  • The recruitment of new staff
  • Direct overseeing of dispatch and delivery teams
  • Monitoring Health and Safety and Food Safety Systems
  • Implementation of finished product quality control in collaboration with production manager
  • Organising maintenance of different machinery
  • Managing of various customer online portals
  • Invoicing and credit control
  • Responding to enquiries and requests
  • General trouble shooting

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience in a similar role ideally within food production
  • Experience within a managerial position
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages
  • A driven and proactive personality
