My clients are looking for an experienced Sales Onboarding Trainer to join their growing company.


The Sales Onboarding Trainer will be responsible for the delivery of sales process training within the Group in the respect of newly acquired businesses.

This will be a remote position.


Responsibilities for a Sales Onboarding Trainer:

  • Develop effective induction programmes for acquisitions.
  • Produce inhouse training materials for courses including client life cycle.
  • Create and deliver a range of training using classroom, online and blended learning, amending, and revising as necessary to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment.
  • Maintain accurate trainee progress records.
  • Ensure the internal process manual is kept updated.
  • Identify training and development needs within the newly acquired businesses through process quality assurance, job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and the HR department.
  • Plan and assess the return on investment of any training or development programme.
  • Monitor and review the progress of trainees.
  • Keep up to date with developments in training.
  • Consider the costs of planned programmes and keep within budget.

Requirements for this Sales Onboarding Trainer:

  • Understanding of the key functions in financial services.
  • Good knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Good knowledge of the IFA sales process.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of a wide range of financial products.
  • At least 2 years experience in training
  • Experience in training on a 121 basis and in a group environment.
  • Previous experience with mergers and acquisitions
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry, within an IFA.
  • Certificate in Financial Planning or an equivalent financial services qualification.
  • Experience working within defined service standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Good interpersonal skills, working with all levels of the organisation.
  • High written and spoken communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative approach to learning.
  • IT Skills
  • Good timekeeping and the ability to multitask
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and innovative approach to work.
  • Personal commitment to improving knowledge and skills, and a passion for continued learning and development.

Salary/ Benefits for this Sales Onboarding Trainer:

  • £40,000
