Job Title: Packaging Artworker

Salary: £25,000 - £38,000 /yr

Location: Purley (South London) – Onsite 5 days a week

Requirement: Portfolio with specific FMCG packaging examples

This is an exciting opportunity for a Packaging Artworker to join one of the top global packaging, branding and production specialists. They bring a 360 full-service design approach - from strategic, to creative and the final production/execution. Their clients trust them to ensure their brands are picked first at the retail shelf.

As the Packaging Artworker, you will join this epic studio, working in-house, 5 days a week in their Purley office. This role requires someone with excellent attention to detail as you work with precision across photography, typography and file set up, ensuring you are following the client's guidelines and requirements to perfection.

You will have with 3+ years of artworking experience, specifically within the FMCG packaging space. On the daily, you will be creating new packaging artworks including labels, boxes, sleeves, foils, tubes, lids, and outer cases for various different print processes. Having knowledge of different printing technologies is essential as you will be responsible to create and adapt all the packaging artworks correctly, efficiently and meeting all requirements.

It is essential that you have substantial FMCG packaging examples in your portfolio when you apply.

This is a busy studio, where you will thrive working under pressure, running high-volume projects efficiently and always hitting your deadlines. Your communication skills will be second to none as you will be working collaboratively with the members of the production and account management teams.

Again – as the Packaging Artworker, you are required to work onsite, full time, 5 days a week at their Purley (Surrey) office which is just a 45-minute train from central London (20 minutes from Clapham Junction, or 25 minutes from London Bridge). This is non-negotiable. As well as having solid experience of the Adobe Creative Suite, you will be confident in your knowledge of colour separation, file set up and supply using spot colour channels.
