Description
Alvan Blanch designs, manufactures and exports large scale machinery for processing crops all around the world.

We are currently seeking a Costing Clerk to join our Finance team.


Job title:
Costing Clerk

Reports to:
Finance Manager


Purpose of Role:
To provide support to the Finance Team


Relationships:
Finance Team, Sales Teams, Factory and Procurement


Main Duties
Costing Work

  • Produce the quick costings at beginning of month.
  • Project costings within a month of project completion
  • GWE costings
  • Missing/Warranty parts analysis
Bonus preparation

  • Monthly GFD report
  • Drier Analysis
  • Gang Analysis
  • Gang GFD analysis
  • Analysis of Final report.
Weekly Payroll

  • Complete the weekly overtime justification report.
  • Run the weekly Bradford Factor report.
  • Complete Holiday Report and Holiday accruals
  • Weekly GFD report to managers
  • Other ad hoc weekly labour reports
  • Weekly payroll with all reports
Monthly Pension Payroll

  • Run Monthly payroll.
  • Close year end
Sales Order reporting

  • Monthly reporting to ensure orders are invoiced.
  • Liaising with sales teams to ensure issues resolved.
  • Ensure VAT export file is up to date.
Other Work

  • Assist with the production of Letter of Credit Documentation
  • Cover Purchase Ledger and Sales ledger during periods of holiday and absence.
  • Any other ad hoc work as requested.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£25,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
