Our client is seeking a Technical Instructor (mechanical or electrically bias).

The role is offered as a fulltime permanent position - no formal training qualifications required but candidates must be passionate about teaching others.

Based in Rochester with travel required within the UK and abroad

Hours:
Mainly office hours (9-5pm)
A flexible approach is required as the role often includes evening and weekend work.

Time off in lieu is allocated when Technical Instructors are required to travel to distant work locations on Sundays or at other times outside normal working hours.

Technical Instructor are reimbursed for hotel accommodation and meals when working away. Company vans are also available.
A valid UK driving licence is essential.
To design and deliver short training courses to small groups of engineers
Working mainly in Kent, but will be required to travel throughout the UK and overseas
Ordering parts, briefing and dealing with sub-contractors, building training rigs, researching technical issues, writing course notes
Successfully deliver training courses within their field of expertise - mechanical, electrical, instrumentation etc
Electrical / Electronic engineering knowledge, relevant qualifications or qualified by experience
Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of students (adults) in an engaging and positive manner
To ensure the training courses are interesting, relevant, and up to date
Computer literate
