Tradewind Recruitment is working with a good primary school based in Heston, Hounslow that are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in a reception year group with a pupil who has a statement for ASD.

The headteacher and SENCo of this high achieving school in the heart of vibrant School in Hounslow keen to appoint a bright, ambitious Teaching Assistant to work one to one with a pupil in Reception.

The pupil has an Educational Healthcare Plan and has a diagnosis of ASD. The pupil requires short-burst activity support, learning support in Literacy and Numeracy as well as support during play time.

As a Teaching Assistant you will require an experience to work with this pupil.

The behaviour of the pupil is mild to moderate with that the school are seeking a restraint trained teaching assistant.

The pupil has mild to moderate behavioural needs.

The role will involve

Supporting a pupil with ASD/ASC in Reception with behavioural needs
Work alongside the lower Early Years Foundation Stage team to plan and prepare engaging, fun sessions for small groups of learners that need additional support
Firm but fair behaviour management skills
