    Description

    Are you an experienced litigation lawyer and interested in joining a successful niche commercial litigation/insolvency firm in Manchester?

    If you have a minimum of 5 years' experience successfully managing fast and multi-track claims, have excellent communication skills and are self-motivated and driven we would be interested to meet you.

    We are an extremely successful, busy practise with a specialised team of Litigation lawyers. We work closely with those facing insolvency, on behalf of insolvency practitioners or those wishing to instigate commercial litigation proceedings and are expanding our team of professionals.

    The role:

    Proficient in managing and taking responsibility

    • Building strong client relationships
    • Strong analytical skills and resourcefulness
    • Experience managing Appeal process, Financial Liability/Security for Costs
    • Work autonomously and handle multiple priorities
    • Provide legal advice and guidance to client
    • Negotiate and draft legal documents
    • Represent clients in court proceedings
    • Conduct legal research and analysis
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
    • Keep updated on changes in legislation and case law

      Skills
      • 5+ years experience
      • Established and able to demonstrate success level
      • Degree desirable but not essential
      • Proven track record of increasing revenue
      • Strong negotiation skills
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
      • Attention to detail
      • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
      • Software LEAP, Acrobat, Office suite and Clio
