    Role: Senior e-Cargo Bike Mechanic

    Location: Central London

    We're looking for a motivated, hands on e-cargo bike mechanic to help keep our fleet of vehicles on the road with the potential for quick career progression.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on electric cargo vehicles, including diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
    • Work with a team of mechanics, providing guidance, training, and support to junior staff.
    • Collaborate with the fleet management team to optimise maintenance schedules and reduce vehicle downtime.
    • Implement and adhere to safety protocols and regulations in all maintenance activities.
    • Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts inventory management.
    • Provide expert advice on the purchase and implementation of new e-cargo vehicles and technologies.
    • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in electric vehicle technology.
    • Handle emergency repair situations and provide on-call support as needed.
    • Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers for warranty and non-warranty repairs.
    • Develop and implement efficiency improvement measures in the maintenance department.
    • Delivering Parcels in emergency situations
    • Ensure Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered too.
    • Develop, structure and implement new policies and procedures that focus around improving company performance, safety, quality and service.
    • Drive improvements in people, processes and technology.
    • Drive cost reduction through operational efficiencies.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electric vehicle maintenance and repair, with a focus on cargo or commercial vehicles.
    • Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, battery technology, and electric vehicle drivetrains.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Relevant certifications in electric vehicle maintenance and repair.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
    • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record is a bonus.
    • Excellent time management, organisational, communication and presentation skills with strict attention to detail.
    • Prior work experience in a start-up environment preferred.
