    Aviation Maintenance Technical Instructor

    Gloucestershire (Commutable from Gloucester, Bristol, Bath, Oxford, Cheltenham)

    £46,000 – £54,000 DOE + Pension, Funded Training, Travel Expenses, Progression & Benefits

    Are you an experienced Technical Instructor open to a new role? Do you have a strong background and extensive knowledge in Aviation Maintenance and are looking for a change where you can utilise your skills and knowledge in a training environment for the next generation of Aero apprentices?

    My client is current seeking a new Aviation Technical Instructor to train and develop their aviation apprentices in their ever expanding, successful, and market leading training centre in the Gloucestershire area. There is also the opportunity for field-based roles at airports across the country if that is of interest too.

    Whilst previous experience and teaching qualifications are desirable, we also value enthusiasm, a professional approach to work and the willingness to learn. So as long as you have experience in aviation maintenance, they can train you to teach and can provice support with gaining a teaching qualification.

    In addition to the functions detailed below, this role may specialise in mechanical, avionic, composite specialties and more with opportunities to teach in workshop, classroom, and the hangar environment. Technical Instructor responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Responsibilities:

    • The theoretical and practical delivery of EASA PT 66 training products
    • EASA Approved Examiner and Invigilator duties as required
    • Assisting in maintenance and updating of approved training resources

    Requirements:

    • An appropriate qualification in aviation maintenance
    • Minimum 5 years industry experience with an understanding of air worthiness regulations 1321
    • A good working knowledge of MS Office
    • Clean driving licence
    • Must be able to satisfy DBS clearance check

    Package:

    • Full time, permanent position
    • Salary up to £54,000 (Dependant on experience)
    • Opportunity for Visa sponsorship
