Description
Want to join a company with genuine career progression opportunities?based in our ISOC (Intercity's Secure Operations Centre), to support the managed services customer's networks using Intercity's system management toolsets and processes.
As a Network Engineer you will provide second line support in the ISOC and ensure the continuous smooth operation of the network service.
The hours of work are on a rota basis that covers 24x7x365.Remote support and identifying issues affecting customers systems and services, followed by performing a 2nd line diagnosis with a view to resolution
Be able to work without continuous supervision and be trusted to provide professional support services to Intercity customer
Make recommendations on improvements to Intercity services and service quality
CCNA or equivalent
Be familiar with the primary function of networking equipment (e.g. 23 days holiday and a day off for your birthday (plus 8 days holiday in lieu of bank holidays), plus your entitlement will increase by one day for each full calendar year you are employed, up to a maximum of five days
