Sheridan Maine are currently supporting a key client of ours who is seeking an Interim Accountant to join their Global manufacturing business based in Dorset, initially for a period of 9+ months.

The purpose of the Interim Accountant role is a general role to support the Head Office Accountant, with a few key areas:
Statutory accounts support
Audit Support
Banking including Treasury Transactions and Bank Reconciliations
AP Support including, supplier Payment Runs and Supplier Account Maintenance
Multicurrency and multicompany accounts
Reconciliation of AR and AP accounts held internally with other entities
For the right candidate this role will include other adhoc projects, such as change management

We are looking for either a ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified Accountant or an experienced QBE, who can be flexible and adaptable, with broad accounting experience and in return our client can offer support into what is currently a short-term opportunity, yet we believe offers great exposure to further develop in a unique role, which will set itself apart from a mainstream accounting role.
