A leading pharmaceuticals organisation in Northumberland are looking for a Synthetic Chemistry Team Leader to lead a team of Scientists and take charge of a variety of projects.

The Job

The successful Synthetic Chemistry Team Leader will work on a range of duties, including;

Lead a team of Scientists, delegating tasks and giving them direction in the lab in addition to mentoring them and working on their development
Take charge of multiple projects, keeping track of budgets and targets to keep them on track
Plan and perform synthetic experiments to progress the projects in the lab and scale up pilot plants.
Work on process chemistry, scaling up from lab to pilot plant scale
Review experimental results and data to make decisions about the direction of the projects, dealing with any issues that arise
Maintain GMP standards in the lab
