**The Company
**Able Bridge Recruitment are proudly working with one of Scotland's most innovative and fast growing businesses in the recruitment of a specialist accountant for their Edinburgh head office.

The role reports into the group financial controller however the organisation is not hierarchical and there will be multiple stakeholders that the successful incumbent will interact with on a daily basis.

The environment that you will be working within is vibrant, fast paced and highly collegiate, where no 2 days will be the same.

The role as it stands will be a stand alone position, however given the growth trajectory of the business, we can see the roleholder building a sizable team around them.

**The Responsibilities
**The purpose of this role is to provide support to the business in relation to financial settlement's that will need to be covered at specific time intervals. The role holder will be accountable for the building of specific models that will identifycustomer habits and behaviours that can accurately forecast where capital reserves will need to be and when.

**On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;
**Work with stakeholders across the business to gather historical data to build sophisticated and fit for purpose financial models.
Liaise with corporate finance to report on future financial requirements and ensure cash transactions can be sufficiently settled.

Complete detailed and complex analysis of behavioural and historical financial transactions to build a full understanding of likely financial scenarios.

Review the process of how financial settlements are made with a view to changing the process to become more efficient and more fit for purpose.

Interact with data, finance and operational departments to build processes around multi-currency transactions ensuring risk is minimised and FX fluctuation have no significant impact on the financial position of the business.

Work with sales teams and back-office functions to establish the level of security needed to be invested by new customers and for what time period.

**The Requirements
**It is most likely that the successful applicant will be a professionally qualified accountant however this is not an occupational requirement. We are however seeking individuals who are highly skilled in building financial models in tools such as Excelas well as having the insight to be able to pivot that way that the business drives processes and change. We are seeking an individual who is creative and who is motivated by change and people. The organisation is at a point where they are expanding, growingand embedding processes that will shape the future of the way they do things. We are seeking an individual who has the appetite, drive and determination to join and shape the journey that they are on.
