    At Barnett Waddingham, we are currently recruiting a new opportunity for a Corporate Social Investment Manager to join our Workplace Services hub, within the Central Operations business area.

    This is an exciting opportunity to help develop and deliver our strategic and operational experience activities and responsibilities.


    CSI is the overarching approach for improving the social, environmental, and economic well-being of the communities around our local office locations or society at large.

    This will be a Hybrid role and based in ideally our Amersham office, however London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Guildford, Cheltenham, Bristol and Leeds will be considered.

    Responsibilities


    Driving Engagement in all areas of CSI work, including internal and external communications and developing relationship with key stakeholders, charities and sustainability partners and local initiative partners across our office location network in UK.

    Lead development of our CSI Strategic planning and annual implementation plans.


    Creating monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to ensure impact and improvements achievements are shared with key stakeholder/s, providing enablement success against strategic plan and annual action schedules.

    Holds regular 1:1 meetings with all team members to discuss workloads, client matters, internal communications etc. and lead weekly huddle meetings.

    Host PDRs with each direct report.

    Ensures standard operating processes, manuals, induction process and team charters are reviewed regularly, managed, and maintained.


    Lead and develop the CSI Committee to ensure our focus, development and achievements are delivering to improve the lives of others, whilst helping to support our employee value proposition and engagement of our colleagues.

    To ensure all CSI activity and budget allocation records are kept efficiently and accurately.


    Ensure firmwide and annual charity events are planned and delivered to best practice and high impact in support of nominated charity, coordinating assistance from other CSI members.

    Annual review and continuous improvement of our CSI offering including Volunteering, Matched Funding and Fundraising activities.

    Overview management of monthly finance report against CSI records.


    To lead our CSI Coordinators with direction on best practice of fundraising, developing relationships with local charities, reporting processes and initiatives.

    Coordination and hosting of CSI monthly calls, setting agenda and allocation of actions.

    To arrange annual CSI Coordinator meetings/training events, set agenda, venues, and invitations. To engage with nominated charity or key speaker for introduction or training set.


    Support the Environmental and Sustainability Coordinator in development of strategic projects and business solutions to help achieve firmwide goals and objectives in sustainability successes.

    Create and develop internal key stakeholder relationships.

    Support, Implement and Maintain Information Security procedures and activities in accordance to Barnett Waddingham's Information Security Policy

    Experience/Qualifications

    Degree educated or demonstrable suite of skills, knowledge and understanding of corporate social responsibilities.

    Membership or affiliation with professional body or network.

    Significant Corporate Social Responsibility work experience in private sector/professional services experience across CSR areas (charity and community, volunteering, and fundraising, environmental and sustainability, inclusive networks etc.)

    Experience in CSR engagement campaigns.

    Excellent communication skills including in-person, written and presentation delivery.

    Advanced people engagement management, with positive influencing skills.

    Experience in line management and development of others.

    Demonstrable understanding of strategic and operational planning.

    Strong skills in Microsoft Office.

    Experience of using platform database systems.
