    The client is looking for a Part II or architect to join their Science and Technology team. The role is a rounded opportunity where you will be involved in the design and technical stages, leading a junior team, organising the client and consultant teams reporting to the head of sector. (S+T). The team currently have an existing CL4 laboratory in the UK and requires a profile to join at RIBA stage 4 and take the scheme through to completion. The project is in Revit. There are other educational projects in the S&T sector.

    The client is looking for an architect or laboratory planner who wants to dedicate their time and energy to science, laboratory, health and education. Ideally profiles who have laboratory experience are preferred, seeing stages throughout all RIBA stages and who have an affinity and passion for this niche sector. The team are dedicated and loyal, although junior and requires an expert to join to bring their skill set and knowledge to the project. The role is split between being hands on the drawing board throughout the technical stages and being client-facing/organising consultant teams. There will be involvement on-site. Strong technical profiles would enjoy the range of complex and high-profile projects. Additional projects are across the EMEA region.

    You must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

    You must have Revit and AutoCAD skills in practice.

    Experience & skills

    • Qualified Part II or architect
    • Excellent knowledge and understanding of AutoCAD and Revit
    • Experience and knowledge of the design process able to follow and track projects throughout all RIBA stages
    • Experience of working with consultant teams
    • Experience and knowledge of building regulations
    • Excellent communications skills presenting to external or internal teams
    • Excellent trouble shooting and problem solving skills
    • Proactive attitude, strong planning and organisational skills

    The office policy is 3 days in the office and 2 days wfh.
