    Comex 2000 is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Project Manager to join our Infills PIA team in the Wolverhampton.

    We are looking for a Project Manager to look after the day-to-day project management of upcoming telecoms projects and BAU works to ensure they are carried out diligently and accurately. A professional and confidential manner will be required at all times.

    You will be responsible for overseeing all field activities and staff to ensure that production, financial control, and site activities are managed to the highest standards in all areas of delivery. Principal duties include working with the Operations Management team and contractors to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective approach is used to deliver an outstanding level of service whilst maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and quality.


    We are looking for someone with the following skills and qualifications:
    • An industry applicable qualification is very desirable (Prince2 or APM)
    • CEMAR experience is desirable
    • Microsoft Project experience is essential
    • Telecoms Industry knowledge is essential
    • Excellent communication skills
    • A positive attitude and a can-do approach to work
    • Good organisation skills
    • Ability to work well under pressure
    • Proficient IT skills


    Requirements

    What will you be doing?

    As a Project Manager, your core responsibilities will be –

    • Update various databases daily
    • Interpret contract commitments
    • Take a pro-active approach with the forward planning and reporting of the project
    • Be creative and find innovative ways to improve the project.
    • Create monthly reports
    • Answering calls and liaising with clients/local authorities/subcontractors competently
    • Manage client/contractor expectations within the context of Gigaclear and their commitment to continuing their longstanding relationship with this client
    • Track and manage scheduling and noticing of scheduled works
    • Ensuring that the key deliverables within each stage of the projects are being administered to the highest quality
    • Assisting colleagues and co-workers with ad hoc duties as requested
    • Responsible for own health and safety and adhering to company policy and procedures
    • Responsible for ongoing personal development to assist the business
    • Any other duties commensurate with the accountabilities of the post.
